The past several weeks we’ve removed a ton of overgrown material and dirt from the parking lot and curb areas under the West Seattle Bridge, most recently with the help of SDOT and Nucor Steel. It’s tough work but it’s looking amazing where we’ve removed the invasives and then the dirt, and should prove to cut down on the perennial overgrowth down there. We’ll continue Tuesday at the bottom of the west most parking lot and the bus stop, and then start working east down through the columns towards the Chelan Cafe.

Parking & Meet-Up
There is parking under the bridge just east of Avalon Way and Harbor Ave. As you turn east under the bridge like you were headed to the lower bridge, take the first available left at the bottom of the parking lot and head west on Spokane and then turn into the top of the lot, You’ll see the van in the top of the parking lot and we’ll start our work from there.
