We’ll join Lisa with Friends of Lincoln Park (FLiP) along the front of the park where FLiP has been working for a while now. Their Planting Day is coming up, and we’ll help Lisa over the coming weeks get the dense area cleared and ready for native plants. It will be a great spot once the blackberry, ivy, and clematis are pulled up, with lots of interesting plants and trees in the area. Of course, being right off the parking olot and main trails, there will be litter picking opportunities as well.
Park in the south (bottom) end of the north (large) Lincoln Park parking lot and look for the little social trail running parallel with the sidewalk, I’ll put a sign at the entrance and we’ll be right down that trail.
