We’ll head to a new trianglular median at S. Rose and Rainier Ave. S this week, which houses a local bus stop about 1.2 miles south down Rainier where we’ve worked the past several weeks. We’ll give this mini-block a nice initial clean this Wednesday, and see where it leaves us for future visits—there’ll be lots of trash picking opportunities around the neighborhood as well. I’ll also have a storm drain stencil kit from Adopt a Drain, and a map of the neighborhood, so if anyone would like to go on a storm drain cleanup adventure I can supply the gear for that, and we can start to cross them off the city map.
This will be a continuation of our South Seattle work with SDOT for the Spruced series in Equity Priority neighborhoods.
Parking: Look for street parking in the neighborhood off of Rainier.
