We’ll visit Little Saigon this week to help ready the community’s Spring Cleaning the following day. The organizers have asked for help priming the planter boxes along Weller St. and tidying their contents for a bright, fresh paint job during their work party. I’ll get out ahead of time to edge and mow the area so they can pressure wash the planters before we get there to primer them. Wear your painting clothes and I’ll bring the gear. We’ll also get some banh mi sandwiches for lunch after the work party.
Parking isn’t great, so look for carpooling opportunities and surface street parking along Weller or neighboring blocks.
