I scouted some south Seattle projects with Jenny Frankl last week for the Spruced series, and we’ve queued up several SDOT projects for the neighborhood over the coming months. The first of which will be this week’s clearing of an overgrown section along South Graham street where sidewalks on both side of the street are difficult to navigate due to foliage taking over.
We’ll start with hedge trimmers to find the inside edge of the sidewalk and then have teams raking and making piles of cut material to load into trucks, There are also opportunities to clear some corner planting beds, weed the curbline, and shovel built-up debris off the street and sidewalks. This may be a two-visit project, but we’ll find out more once we’re in the thick of it!
Parking: There should be decent parking along S. Graham St., just look for the van along the hill towards 33rd Ave S.
