We’ll head back to the trianglular median at S. Graham and Rainier Ave. S this week., which houses a local bus stop. We gave this mini-block a nice initial clean last Wednesday, and I believe we can wrap up the weed pulling and spread some wood chips this week—there’ll be lots of trash picking opportunities around the neighborhood as well for those so inclined. I also have a storm drain stencil kit from Adopt a Drain, and a map for the neighborhood, so if anyone would like to go on a storm drain cleanup adventure I can supply the gear for that, and we can start to cross then off the city map.
This will be a continuation of our South Seattle work with SDOT for the Spruced series in Equity Priority neighborhoods. If we get this area done then we’ll select a new location for next week.
Parking: There’s decent neighborhood parking around S. Graham St. and Rainier
