Group member Melissa reached out about doing a collaborative cleanup in Georgetown with folks from her work at Docusign. We’ll have an afternoon cleanup and spread out in all directions after meeting up at All Star Coffee in the heart of Georgetown. There should be plenty of work to do.

This will also be our first Spruced series cleanup under the new city funding that was included in the 2026 city budget through Councilman Saka's office. I'll be leading 40 citywide cleanups between now and the end of the year, with 70% of the events focused in Seattle’s equity priority areas, as identified by the Race and Social Equity Composite Index (RSECI). This will be the first event that aligns with that map and will be a great kickoff to this aggressive goal. Stay tuned for many more upcoming opportunities.

Parking is always a little iffy in this area of Georgetown, feel free to try to find a spot around All Star Coffee or park a little further south towards Boeing Field where the street parking opens up a bit more.
