The past three weeks we’ve removed butterfly bush along East Marginal as it creates line-of-sight issues for vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians, and has trapped a ton of garbage form years of neglect. This week we’ll be working right around the area where Highway 99 comes down to street level. There’s lots of brush to remove and also an abandoned camp we can clean up. This is a heavy traffic area, so we’ll be mindful of our environment and select specific areas to work, we should all be wearing hi-vis gear.

Parking & Meet-Up
After coming over the Lower Bridge continue past our usual areas of work under the bridge and take the middle lane option under the bridge when there are three options, follow this street which will take you out to East Marginal. You can either park under 99 right out in front of the ILWU Local 19 or look for parking a further south of the WS bridge where we'll be parked and working.
