The past two weeks we’ve removed butterfly bush along East Marginal as it creates line-of-sight issues for vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians, and has trapped a ton of garbage form years of neglect. This stretch is in the industrial area directly under elevated Highway 99 and is a trash-rich environment.

Parking & Meet-Up
After coming over the Lower Bridge continue past our usual areas of work under the bridge and take the middle lane option under the bridge when there are three options, follow this street which will take you out to East Marginal. You can either park under 99 right out in front of the ILWU Local 19 or look for parking a further south of the WS bridge where we'll be parked and working.
