We’ll return to Seacrest Park this week and work on Sprucing up Cove 1 just north of Salty’s with the little pier and the Luna Girls sculpture. The cove has some willow overgrowth as well as the usual English ivy and blackberry brambles that we’ll work on removing, we dug into the north end of the cove last week and will pick up where we left off. We are working along the rockery so we’ll be careful of our footing. Of course there will also be trash picking opportunities along the beach and Alki Trail as well.
Try parking along Harbor Ave, sometimes outside Salty’s or across the street will provide more opportunities.
