We’ll return again to Marshall Reserve this week, the little pocket park just across the street from the Love Lock fence line view of downtown. We’ve been helping Parks and Rec removed invasives and open the vibe of the park up. Prior to our first visit it was pretty dark and gloomy with a huge blackberry bramble along the back of the park with lots of ivy eating up real estate. We’ll continue clearing cut material from around the trees and pulling ground ivy, and open up the park for future visits from SPR’s Natural Area crew to come in behind us to take care of the larger holly and laurel trees.
There’s plenty of parking along Harbor Ave on either side of the street.
