A friend of the park has been Sprucing up the overgrown picnic area down behind the kid’s play area in the south end of the park by Shelter #2. We’ll hop over and help with that work—cleaning the overgrown planting areas and uncovering native plants. There is plenty to work on here and will likely take several visits to get it in a good spot heading into Spring.
Park in either of the Lincoln Park parking lots and make your way down Picnic Area 2 where the covered shelter and picnic tables are behind the kid’s big toys and the dragon sculpture.
