We’ll join Lisa with Friends of Lincoln Park (FLiP) along the front of the park where FLiP has been working for a while now. Their Planting Day is coming up, and we’ve helped Lisa over the past weeks get the dense area cleared and ready for native plants. This week we’ll continue getting up the remaining blackberry, ivy, and clematis, and also cut up the big holly trees we’ve been pulling and decide what to do with it, staging other cut material for future windrows.
Park in the south (bottom) end of the north (large) Lincoln Park parking lot and look for the little social trail running parallel with the sidewalk, I’ll put a sign at the entrance and we’ll be right down that trail.
