Tim at Parks & Rec made a special request for a Sprucing event along the beach at Lincoln Park, right by the Troll and Colman Pool. We’ll work on pulling weeds, blackberry and other invasives. There will also be trash picking opportunities. The area looks much better since we did the massive blackberry pull last Summer, but they continue to pop up.
It’s pretty much midway down the beach, so come in whichever way you’d like. Drop in from the top or walk in from Lowman Beach or the south parking lot. I’ll come in from Lowman if you’d like to join us for the walk in.
For those wanting to walk with the kids down to the beach and get in on Kersti’s talk, we’ll start up in the big parking lot and walk down to the beach.
