We started cleaning the debris field between the West Seattle Golf Course and Camp Long after the city’s encampment sweep several weeks ago, but there is still much more there to do. Dozens of one-off camp sites, as well as large areas of scorched earth where trash has been ground into the mud remain. We’ll walk in again from the WS Stadium / WS Golf Course end of the greenspace and walk in to the higher wooded area and work back towards where we were last week to best inventory what remains, but we may be in a pretty good spot after another large-scale cleanup.

Some of the large camp areas may still be pretty muddy in spots, so wear good shoes/boots and cleanup attire ;)

Parking & Meet-Up
