We scouted the debris field between the West Seattle Golf Course and Camp Long after the city’s sweep last week and there is still much more there to do there. Dozens of one-off camp sites, as well as large areas of scorched earth where trash has been ground into the mud remain. I think walking in from the WS Stadium / WS Golf Course end of the greenspace will be the best way to make an initial cleanup, and then we can treat it as a series over the coming weeks to dig in and get out as much material as we can. Very doable if we take it in bite-sized bits.

We Heart Seattle will join us on this collaborative event to hit it hard this week.

Some of the large camp areas are still pretty muddy in spots, so wear good shoes/boots and cleanup attire ;)

Parking & Meet-Up
